Profile: Estelle I. D'Auvrecher
Kind by nature, playful, gentle yet cruel if felt threatened, often lonely when quiet, strong willed, enjoys freedom very much and always love to be in own world but will want to know what was going on around at times. Always love to mix around with people, including humans. Being a sociable person and not intending to reveal her real identity unless if necessary, she will always try to help anyone in any way if possible.
Raised in the family of Bourdekin, daughter of Duke of England, who was also a member of the high courts, and Maureen, a lady in waiting of the French Queen, she grew up in a peaceful, monotonous environment. Long black hair, fair and delicate skin, together with beautiful yet hypnotic pair of crimson eyes, which was extremely rare in normal families, defined the mysterious aura. Rumor has it, that perhaps she was the child of vampires, for her eyes spoke of the devil that was hated by all. Words soon began to spread, making it more difficult for her to socialize.
Playing piano and Violin, singing, dancing, painting, social and dining etiquette, as well as arts of language were her forte. Attended every formal ball with them if possible and always wandered around the nearby gardens, spending time painting the scenery or even practising singing skills that were taught by a tall, charming and talented young man - her favorite teacher, as well as the man whom she wished to marry in future.
Strong stench of blood lingered around the house after she returned from her usual walk one day. Scouting around the house for a bit, she rushed to the bedroom straight after and saw the stranger who resembled the person she once knew, holding onto her mother's body whilst her father's on the floor motionless; blood dripping down from his teeth, or rather fangs which the heartless creature had. Horrified, she covered her mouth, trying not to make any noise when she witnessed the gruesome scene. Tears could not express the disappointment and anguish.
Sensing she was right behind him, he slowly stood up, turning his body and made his way towards her. Eyes were fixed on hers, fearful yet nonthreatening, as if an elder brother was looking at his very own sister. Pushing her against the wall when close, his cold hand brushed against her right cheek, caressing it. Lifting her chin upwards, he looked at her tenderly, gently pulling her over to his arms, face closing in to the neck. Loud squelching sound could be heard; fangs piercing through the surface and deep into the veins. Gripping his sleeves, she stared into blank space; eyes squirming and mouth opening a little. Moving away from her neck to mouth, he pressed his lips against hers, kissing it tenderly yet firmly, with blood still dripping. Enervated, her vision gradually blurred out, falling over like a rag doll and being carried up like a sleeping baby.
Found herself lying on a big rectangular stone table in the middle of the hall after a long slumber. Weak as she was, she gathered her strength and sat up, feeling something different at the same time. Walking towards the large mirror hanging by the wall, blood red crimson eyes and sharp teeth could be seen in the reflection. Short blurry memories were flashed across as she stood still; with people whose eyes were like hers, so familiar yet so strange, and unknown places she had been before. No words could explain the confusion and uncertainty going on in her mind. Unable to handle it, she knelt on her knees in disbelief, screaming and shouting while attempting to figure out her real identity, human or vampire.
Cooping herself at one of the bedrooms in the mansion for the next few days, she felt suffocated, trying to control the beast within. Right in front of her stood the man who had changed her, or rather back to who she once was. Looking at her with dark cold eyes, his neck was leaned against her mouth without hesitation, as if he could read her mind. Couldn't resist any longer at the smell of blood, she pounced forward and bit him. For the first time, she enjoyed the sensation of sucking blood. Streams of tears went down her cheeks as she fed on him. Memories of her past became vivid and permanent; an offspring of the D'Auvrecher, a royal vampire family whom got destroyed centuries ago. A smile could be seen when she looked up to the man, knowing she has found her true family, the man of her life, her brother.
Venexia; city of the livings and the undeads, hometown of the vampires and humans, her one and only home.
